His first book “The Gardens of Luciano Giubbilei” was published by Merrell in 2010.

The book explores a selection of twelve significant gardens, created since Luciano began making gardens in 1997. Each project is fully documented, from the preparation of mood boards, to the final planting and finishing, with sections devoted to on site development, nursery production and the sourcing of plants. Significance is also shown to the artists and craftsmen with whom collaborations were forged to complete the works.
