Every design is a new expression of the defining values of atmosphere, emotion and light and of the profound influence of classical Italian garden design, with its emphasis on proportion, balance, spacing, rhythm and repetition. From the beginning the studio’s work has been shaped by a commitment to dialogue with artists, architects, plantsmen, craftsmen and photographers, driven by a conviction that collaboration is key to challenging the creative process and to pushing beyond the constraints of established vocabularies.
