I first saw the work of Keiichi Tahara in a book and was captured by the classical subject, placed on a transparent glass surface animated by the light.

I commissioned Keiichi for my Addison Road client and soon became fascinated working with him for his vision, and his understanding of composition in natural surroundings. The piece, ‘Baiser’, needed perhaps more attention in placing than any other art piece I’ve worked with as it is the reflection of the natural light that makes the sculpture move. The work’s location in the garden captured the imagination and assails the senses almost immediately, albeit in a subtle and seductive way.
