Alessandra Pizzetti
Associate Architect
Originally from Siena, Alessandra graduated as an architect in Florence in 2008. She began her professional life in Spain working in internationally renowned practices Ensamble Studio and Miralles Tagliabue EMBT, before moving to Rossiprodi Associati in Florence, where for 6 years she specialised in designing public spaces and facilities.
In 2016, looking to broaden her horizons, Alessandra moved to London, working briefly as a freelance interior designer before beginning her collaboration with Luciano Giubbilei. Since joining the studio, she has played a leading role in all its major projects, including substantial private gardens in the Val d’Orcia, Formentera and Dallas, as well as the design recently developed for the walled garden at Raby Castle in County Durham, the practice’s first public garden commission.
For Alessandra, gardens are places. As such, a successful design derives from the connected consideration of inside and outside, near and far, surfaces and shapes, nature and culture.
